SSC CGL Exam Pattern 2018 for Tier 1, 2, & 3

You will find the detailed exam pattern which includes subjects, questions, marks and duration of SSC CGL Tier I, Tier II, Tier III and Tier IV.

SSC CGL Tier I Exam Pattern

SSC CGL Exam Pattern – Tier II

In Tier II two papers are conducted on the same day. One is Quantitative Aptitude and the second one is English. In addition, for the posts of JSO and AAO, Paper 3 and Paper 4 are conducted respectively.

The questions in this section are designed to test the ability of appropriate use of numbers. The scope of quantitative ability is clearly defined and is limited to class 10th level mathematics. If you have good command over this section, you can score good marks. SSC CGL Tier 3 Syllabus 2018

The exam syllabus of SSC CGL Tier III isn’t much different from previous above. It will be written examination (offline mode) in which Precis Writing/Essay/Formal Letter/Informal Letter are asked. The time duration for tier III exam is 60 minutes.

Important Note:

(i): Paper-I & II are compulsory for all the categories of posts.

(ii): Paper-III is only for those candidates who apply for the post of Statistical Investigator Gr.II & Compiler.

(iii): Paper IV is only for those candidates who apply for the post of Assistant Audit Officer.

(iv): Candidates opting for the post of Compiler and/or Statistical Investigator Gr. II and Assistant Audit Officer must ensure that they possess the requisite qualification as mentioned above. Commission reserves the right to take appropriate action against applicants who do not possess the requisite eligibility while opting for the post of Compiler and/or Statistical Investigator Gr. II and Assistant Audit Officer.
